Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) is a Chinese Hong Kong wuxia (martial art) film directed by Ang Lee in 2000. It is also a dramatic and fantasy film. The film is produced by Bill Kong, Hsu Li-kong, Ang Lee and starred by Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi, Chow Yun-fat, Chang Chen, Cheng Pie-pie, Sihung Lung, De Ming Wang, Fazeng Li, Su Ying Huang and others.
The story of the film's set of 19th century under the Qing Dynasty China, a best sword man Li Mu Bai provides a very sharp sword to his lover Yu Shu Lien to keep it in safe. But the sword is stolen from the palace and a chase is started to find it. When they search it at Governor's house, a new story turns a different level with Governor's daughter Jen Yu.
The sword 'Green Destiny' is not suitable for any person. At first s/he should take training or teaching from a master. Master Li Mu Bai, Yu Shu Lien are always engaged in front of Governor's house to protect the palace and them. But great sword man Master Li Mu Bai is died for governor's daughter's conspiracy, stupidity and ignorance. The sword 'Green Destiny' is suitable for only the trained persons. It is so sharp that it can cut off anything hard or soft. Anyone must be defeated by its keeper. But who will be defeated or who won't be defeated that is the matter of knowledge and learning or training. This sword indicates the value of humanity in the film only to the trained sword man.

It is one of the great films I think. Fantasy performance, good cinematography, perfect sound and overall natural and realistic editing are the main characteristics of the movie.
