Manbhanjan (2019) is
an Indian Bengali art and drama film directed by Abhijit Chowdhury in 2019. The
film is made based on the same name short story of the world poet Rabindranath
Tagore. The film is starred by Anirban Bhattacharya, Amrita Chattopadhyay and
Sohini Sarkar in the lead roles. The film is produced by Shree Venkatesh Films.

Plot
Three characters are
leading the movie Gopinath Seal, Giribala and Lobongo. Gopinath is an only son
of a Zamindar family and Giribala is his wife. Gopinath has inherited a lot of
properties. But he has lost all the properties even his wife. He makes an
illegal relation with the theatre star Lobongo and Lobongo also yields her to Gopinath only for money and treasures. But Giribala could not
tolerate his husband’s aggressiveness. So, she left the Zamindar house and
started theatre with the name ‘Adhoro Bala’. Gopinath lost his property and
house, court seizes his properties and house. At last he has to fall in front
of Giribala at the theatre.
