Vaanavil (2000) is an Indian Tamil Language drama film directed by Manoj Kumar and produced by Guru Films. The film is starred by Arjun Sarja, Prakash Raj and Abhirami in the lead roles and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Manivannan, Visu, Lakshmi, Devan, Santhana Bharathi, Roopa Sri, Shanthi Williams, Uma Shankari, Roopashree Jeevaji and other in supporting characters. The film is released in India on 27th October, 2000. The film is about Surya, Prakash and Priya all are AIS aspirants. At the training place, Surya and Priya fall in love each other but Prakash also falls in one side love of Priya. Prakash decides any wrong deeds for getting Priya as his wife. But all his bad deeds go in vain at last. Thereafter, Surya and Priya meet each other becoming AIS. Here Prakash Raj has done his role as antagonist perfectly. On the other hand Arjun as a protagonist character has kept his sing in the film attractively. Abhirami has done her best. Vaanavil (2000) is an action drama film.
