Subramanyam For Sale
(2015) is an Indian Telugu action romantic comedy film
directed by Harish Shankar in 2015. The film is produced by Dil Raju under the
Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. It is starred by Sai Dharam Tej,
Regina
Cassandra in the lead roles and Adah Sharma,
Brahmanandam, Nagendra Babu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh, Suman, Naresh, Tejaswi Madivada, Mast
Ali, Fish Venkat, Pragathi, Prabhas Srinu, Ajay, Jhansi, Surekha Vani,
Thagubothu Ramesh, Pradeep Shakthi, Narsing Yadav, Jeeva and others cast in
other important characters. The film is remade in Bengali language in 2018 as Chalbaaz
directed by Joydip Mukherjee under Eskay Movies production house
starred by Shakib Khan and Subhashree Ganguly in the lead roles.

Subramanyam a money
mined person is ready to do any works in exchange of money stays in the USA and
sometimes do any part time jobs. Seeta an Indian parent’s dead girl comes to
USA to her boyfriend running away her marriage ceremony. But her boyfriend
cheats her. Subramanyam gives her a job in the restaurant as the head cook
where he works. But during her sister’s marriage in India, she requests him to
go to India. Subramanyam accepts the proposal in exchange of one lac per day. But
her family members misunderstand them considered as married couple. Subramanyam
took about fifty lac rupees as loan from a local villain Govind and went to USA.
He has sent enough money to him. But his step mother spends all. So, Govind
forces him to marry her sister or he will take the money with interest. One day
Seeta’s uncles, aunties and other members can know the news from B.M Buji and
Govind that Subramanyam and Seeta did not get married. He is engaged with
Govind’s sister. But Subramanyam understand that Chintakaya has told all to
them. So, he and Seeta tell the entire truth. After that Seeta visits USA. After
one week, Subramanyam also comes to USA and meets Seeta. Seeta asks about his
wife but he replies that Govind’s sister Durga has broken the marriage.

One point is very
important here that Subramanyam always has tolerated and thought about his
sister’s marriage though she is his step sister. But he has thought always her
as his own sister. Not only his sister but also, he has thought his step mother
as his own mother. But he never got a little love from his step mother. Her step
mother has always seen him as step son and spent monies sent from him. But at
last, before getting married with Durga, she understands her mistake that
Subramanyam is getting married only for his mother, if he gets married with
Durga, his sister’s marriage also will be done. So, he is ready to take any
risk even to leave his love.

In the movie, there are
comedy, tragedy, romance even action scenes. The most valuable thing is here is
emotion in every scene. Regina Cassandra has performed perfectly and Sai Dharam
Tej jas also performed well. As a
commercial movie, you will like it. But on the perspective of narrative, it is similar
to other cinema and common story styles as other former Telugu cinema.
