Maharshi: A Perfect Combination between Education and Agriculture with Emotion

Maharshi: A Perfect Combination between Education and Work with Emotion Maharshi is an Indian Telugu language socio-action drama film directed by Vamsi Paidipally in 2019.It is his first big and blockbuster film. Munna (2007) is his first directorial debut. Then he directs Bindavanam (2010, Yevadu (2014) and Oopri (2016). Maharshi is his best film from all. Maharshi is starred by Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hedge in the lead roles as male and female character. Besides, Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Rao Ramesh Jagapathi Babu and Vennela Kishore have performed in the supporting characters. Film Analysis: I have just watched the film Maharshi (2019). It’s a Telugu language. I don't know Telugu. Before, I had to wait for Hindi Dubbing. But I cannot get the real performer's voice in the dialogue. But after watching the film in Telugu, I have got the extract of the real dialogue or voice. After watching the movie, which points have come to your mind? I think there are several issues that I have pointed out. These are:- A Good Story: The narrative of the film is commendable. The film story provides three kinds of characters of the same person, Student »CEO» Farmer. It’s a story about education, romanticism, sadness, happiness and success. Balanced Performance: Specially, Mahesh Babu as Rishi Kumar has performed his best in the film. Actually, there are three kinds of climax classifications in the film. In the first stage, we see Mahesh Babu as an engineering student, in the second stage, we see him as the CEO of a multinational company called Origin and in the third stage we see him as Farmer, here he is in favor of the farmers. In all stages, his performance is incredible. For example; in the first stage, Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hedge and Allari Naresh as good friends in the IIT campus do their journey for future success. But Pooja’s love does not stop Mahesh. Because, he finds a bright and successful future no like his father. But after becoming CEO, in the second stage, he understands there is a big credit of his friend Allari Naresh for his success. So, he owes to him extremely for his great success. Though he understands his mistake and decides to pay his borrowing, in the third stage. Besides, all the supporting performers have played their roles extra ordinarily. Education: I think most of the south Indian films are educative or informative as well as entertaining. In all films, entertaining is must. But some films try to provide some information or knowledge. Maharshi is such kind of informative film. There are seldom entertaining scenes. So, don’t watch it in the perspective of entertainment. As a Mahesh Babu’s fan you should watch it for knowledge and education. Agriculture: The film story is basically, about agriculture because the ending part is finished with the farmer’s success. So, the beginning, middle and the ending part is totally different but every part is related to each other. Every year a lot of farmers commit suicide for unseasonal rain or drought in India. They cannot farm or cultivate for unseasonal rain. Besides, there are many agricultural problems in the village. Mahesh Babu as Rishi Kumar leaves his career from the company Origin. He notices he has a duty to do for his friend who had rescued him from police and he is a great credit for his success. But he is neglected for him (Mahesh Babu). Thus Mahesh Babu coming to Naresh to fill borrowings is involved with farmers and starts to think about agriculture and farmers. He notices that the farmers are not getting respect. No one see them with respect but they are the producer of harvest. He himself is involved in agriculture to cultivate and to inspire the people about its favor. He urges to the Central Minister to think about them too. Antagonist and Protagonist: There are two kinds of characters in a film 1) Protagonist 2) Antagonist. The antagonist performers have played their roles nicely in the film. But the antagonist performer specially, Jagapathi Babu could not get chance to broad. His little appearance is also very strong in the film. Religion and Culture: Most of the south Indian movies are made with the principles of their own culture and religion or family drama. Maharshi is also made with this principle but here agriculture is given the most importance. Besides, he (Mahesh Babu) thought his father is a sign of failure. He would be a sign of success. But he understands after his father’s death that a real Indian is more important in India than being a CEO of a company in the USA. His father could not study or become a CEO but he was a man of one word, a religious person who loves his country and thought about helpfulness of others and here is the happiness. Musical Score: Another good thing of the film is its background music. For example, Padara padara, I think it would be the title song of the cinema. Song and the background score are the heart of the film. Specially, the background music is related to the farming. So it has been mixed up with the farming scenes precisely. Emotion: The film is filled with emotion. Specially, the second and the ending part are filled with emotion. The emotion of the performance of the characters can attract the audience mostly. Some weakness of the film: I have identified several weak point of the film. These are Extra Dialogues: A tight script or dialogue is favorable for a film. But there are a lot of extra dialogues used in the film will make the audience bored. Slow Motion Film: Ups and downs are the eternal in the film. But Maharshi has taken several times to give result of the event. I mean the film should have taken less time for more events for good effect. Besides, there are some repetitive scenes that are really boring for the audiences. Imbalance performance of antagonist performer I have stated before that antagonist performer (Jagapathi Babu) has got less chance to give the film a strong support. Success is not a destiny, success is a journey One of the biggest powerful and most valuable dialogues of the film. Failure is not a pillar of success to him rather success is the journey. With this point anything can be imagined about success. Lack of activities or lack of practices is the sign of failure. But regular activities or regular study, or regular practices is the sign of success. In the film journey is eternal. It’s not for a single moment rather it is for all times. The main theme of the film is the farmers are not given respect at all. But they are the producers of food. So, they must be the worshipers to the general people. But they do not get respect at all for their production. The farmers commit suicide for the unseasonal rain or drought. For them, they cannot cultivate or grow harvest. But the higher classes do not listen to them or their demands. The farmers are growing food for them but they do not get any development in village, respect, agricultural equipment, knowledge about agriculture, any govt. help. Mahesh Babu tells they should get respect it is not a sympathy it is duty.
