Kaavalan (2011) is an Indian Tamil language romantic action film written and directed by Siddique. The film is cast by Vijay, Asin in the lead roles and Mithra Kurian, Vadivelu, Rajkiran, Neepa, Guinness Pakru, M. S. Bhaskar, Krishna Kumar, Roja, Madhan Bob, Nizhalgal Ravi, Mahadevan , Delhi Ganesh, Livingston, Sathish Krishnan and some others in the supporting roles.
The film is a remake of the director Siddque's previous Malayalam film Bodyguar (2010). The film is also remade in Hindi language as Bodyguard (2011) Starring by Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.
